Pre-qualification Questionnaire Course

This course is designed for those involved in Public Sector Procurement contracting and sub-contracting including: Main, Sub and Specialist Contractors, Project Managers, Contract Managers, Estimators, Quantity Surveyors and Contract Administrators.

The course includes workshops dealing with Safety and Health issues and Pre-Qualification Administration, and is designed to deal with specific requirements of the recent pre-qualification documents issued in 2009.

CIF Tendering and Contracting Services programmes are designed to allow participants access to the specialist knowledge of CIF executive staff; active participation, specific queries and questions are encouraged during the session and make up an important part of each programme.

A new feature of this Tendering & Contracting programme is the provision of an information bureau for all participants on the programmes offering advice, information and guidance on CIF member services.

Course Contents

  1. Overview of latest Pre-Qualification Questionnaire template.
  2. Purpose of the pre-qualification process.
  3. The role of the process in the open and restricted process.
  4. Permitted criteria for pre-qualification and obligations of the authority with regards to disclosure.
  5. Minimum and maximum qualification criteria.
  6. Debriefing entitlements.

Duration

This course is run as a half-day programme from 9.15am to 1.00pm.
